Is it possible to feel effects if someone pours cocaine into something your drinking?!
I recently went out with some friends!. I felt stange after having one drink!. Someone told me later that a man was caught and arrested for trying to pour cocaine in to womens drinks!. What effect does this have!? I have never heard of anyone doing this before!. Does the drug just dissolve in the liquid, or does it go into yuor blood stream!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

The effects of cocaine taken by mouth would be much like caffeine -- too much makes you shaky, irritable, unable to sleep, with rapid heart rate and racing thoughts!. Smaller doses give a milder, pleasant version of the same effects, including improved alertness, stamina and ability to withstand hunger and pain!. The unpleasant effects are somewhat blunted by alcohol!. It has long been used in a similar way by natives of the Andes with little ill-effects of chronic use!. Cocaine was the original stimulant in Coca-Cola (Coca is the plant that produces cocaine, and Cola is a nut that provides the major flavoring of cola beverages!.) Even the Pope was a fan of coca wine (nearly the same as having cocaine put into a drink) before drugs got outlawed after the repeal of Prohibition!. It is very difficult (and expensive) to get cocaine blood levels up to levels needed for a rush or high by taking it by mouth!.
This being said, there would be no motivation for anyone to try slipping cocaine into someone's drink unless they were unaware of the effects (or misguidedly trying to be benevolent!.) Some ill-intentioned people are thankfully too stupid to be harmful!. A more likely scenario would be to slip one of the "date rape" drugs into a drink!. These cause unconsciousness, loss of memory, impaired judgment!. Thankfully, those drugs are completely cleared from the body without lasting effects!. Another drug someone might want to slip you would be PCP (angel dust) which has totally unpredictable effects ranging from a very pleasant "trip" to horrible psychotic episodes with lasting flashbacks!. PCP is cheap, easy to make and effective in small doses!. It is mostly misrepresented as or added to other, more expensive recreational drugs such as LSD or cocaine, though some people have consistently good effects from it and take it intentionally (or unintentionally from an unscrupulous dealer) but are still playing Russian roulette with their minds!.

For example, LSD was investigated as a possible weapon because of its horribly unsettling effects when taken unawares!. Yet its same effects are enjoyed by intentional users prepared for them!. You wouldn't feel any numbness unless there was a hell of a lot poured into your drink - in which case you'd probably be dead by now!. A small amount would make you feel more alert, more confident and more attractive!. More than that and you'd be jittery, sweaty and paranoid!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
the drug would dissolve but it would also be in ur system!. It would probably just make ur mouth numb and u might feel a little jittery thats about it!. I dont know why any1 would pour cocaine into peoples drinks!. R u sure it wasnt the date rape drug GHB!?!? Cocaine only stays in ur system 72 hours!. You would know the instant you took a sip!. Your lips and tongue would go numb!. Like novocaine numb!. At that point, any reasonable person would stop drinking!. In any case, always police your drink!. Never leave it unattended or out of your sight!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Im no expert but Im pretty sure you can only sniff up cocaine but Im not positive on that!. If you were on cocaine you would know!. If your that worried then see a doctor but its not that big of a problem!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
