Tell him he needs to cut back!. Don't expect him to just say okay and stop drinking!. Go out and do things without alcohol to show him life is fun without getting stupid!. The last thing i"d try is telling him he acts different drunk and you don't like that side of him!. I think it depends on how much your bfriend is drinking!? Does he drink to the point where he is a danger to himself and others around him then if so then you should be very worried but if he just drinks a lot yet doesn't harm anyone including himself then he should be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

all you can do is talk to him reasonably and let him know your feelings!.!.!.but, the truth of the matter the ball is in his court!.!.!.if he truly has a drinking issue only he can determine how he will manage it!.!.!.he can check out AA or even Celebrate Recovery for support!.
