Why is there no nutritional info on beer/alcohol products?!
American standards require that nutritional info is listed on all pre-packaged foods/beverages that we consume-except alcohol!. Why aren't they required to list calories, sodium content, etc on beer and alcohol!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
There's actually rumblings that before too long their will be!. The argument against it is that if you put "nutritional" labels on alcohol that people would get the idea in their head that drinking is healthy!. This is both true and false but special interests groups have made damn sure they make booze look as bad as possible!. Why have a nutritional label when you can have a friendly reminder from the Surgeon General that you're slowly dying!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
You can still find it, LOL
