Absinthe is an herbal liquor that, UNTIL RECENTLY, was illegal in the US!. As of the end of last year, absinthe has been legal to make, distribute and buy!.
The absinthe you buy in the states IS THE SAME as that European stuff!. Both use wormwood, and yes, even Grand Wormwood!. Thujone is present in both!.
Absinthe WILL NOT make you hallucinate!. You will get a different type of buzz from it, but that's all!.
