What kind of wine should I order with this dish?!

Question: What kind of wine should I order with this dish!?
Im having dinner at Mesa Grill in NY, as I usually have wine ordered for me, I'm not sure what would go best with a Mango and spice crusted tuna steak!. I want something light and complimentary!.

They don't have a wine list online that I've seen :\Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon blanc usually goes well with spicy food!. Since you'll be having spice crusted tuna steak, I would guess that these wine might be good!. However, mango can sometimes effect the taste of wine!. The best thing is to ask the house sommelier (if they have one) or the wait person for suggestions!. Is this the Mesa Grill own by Bobby Flay!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I never try to pair my meal with a wine the so called "experts" suggest would be best!. Many times I know I do not like that suggestion!.
I will go with something I know and something I enjoy, wheather it be red or white!. I do make some exceptions:
Italian red sauce!.!.I always chose red wine and salmon or tuna I always order a dry white like Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio!.
I also order whites with broiled scallops!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Any white wine!.!.!. Or try something light and sweet if it's fine with your taste buds!.
Most of the time white meat goes with red meat and red wine goes with red meat!.
BUt if you want to be really sure ask the server what's the best wine to order with your entree -- some menus already include a wine suggestion under the description of the entree!. Hope this helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com

An assertive white wine will contrast with the crusted tuna steaks in this recipe in the same way that the spicy ingredients do!. Two good choices would be the 2002 Cakebread Cellars Sauvignon Blanc from California and the 2001 Antinori Conte della Vipera from Umbria!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it is spicy, a nice Reisling would be nice!. IReislings are a bit sweeter and would cut the spice!.
If the dinner has sweetness because of the mango, a nice Sauvignon Blanc would be great (nice and light and dry) to cut the sugars of the dinner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can't go wrong with Sauvignon Blanc!.
It is very palatable, and compliments most chicken and fish courses!.
