you just did the first step by admitting that you are addicted; my son gets out of re-hab today after a 12 week program; alcohol addiction is very difficult to overcome; most people need help to do this; if you can find help (there have help centers almost everywhere), then go there and ask for help; if you have been consuming great volumes for a long time, it is dangerous to suddenly stop, because you will need to be medically monitored during your withdrawalWww@FoodAQ@Com

have a look at 'how to control alcohol' by allen carr!. he basically changes the way you look at drinking!. he explains you are not depriving yourself by giving up but setting yourself free!. have a look on amazon where over 500 reviews have given up just by reading the book!. i've drunk for 20 years and am on week 5 and dont miss it one bit!. he just basically explains your posioning yourself!. anyway it worked for me so as he says what can you lose by reading a book!.

if you live in Australia there is alcohol counselling 24 hour service!. the telephone number is 1800 177 833!. you can talk to them and may have the best advise on giving the grog the boot!. good luck mateWww@FoodAQ@Com

You have to really want to quit!. Then spill the whole thing to your doctor!. Tell the doctor everything!. Your moods how you feel the want of the drink!.Then take it from there!. You have to really want it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Alcoholics Anonymous has chapters all over the place!. Look them up in the phone book or on line to find one in your area!. They've been helping people for years, with great success!.
