Can you recommend a good celebratory wine ?!
Answers:
not MerlotWww@FoodAQ@Com
Here's my recommendations:
Champagne: Dom Perignon, any vintage!. Recently Cristal has become very popular, but I'm afraid I must disagree with my peers!. It is a nice bottle, and sure, it's expensive, but there is nothing in the world like a good bottle of Dom!.
White: Any Canadian "Late Autumn Riesling"!. A beautiful sweetish (Sugar Code 3) white wine that is great for celebrations!. This is not something you drink with dinner !.!.!. it has its own purpose!.
Red: My favourite: Italian Barolo!. Barolo is often called "the king of wines and the wine of kings" (coined by King Louis XIV of France)!. An inexpensive Barolo is $30, a good Barolo is $120!. Believe me !.!.!. this is no ordinary wine!. Barolo rests on your palate like it's giving you a massage!. It is from the Nebbiolo grape, grown in the Piedmont Region of Italy!. It's a fine choice!.
Whatever it is you're celebrating, congratulations!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If its a celebration you're after, then you definitely need a little bubbly!
Here's the problem, many people don't like the taste because most champagnes are too dry!. Keep in mind that you can order a double brute, etc!. which changes the sweetness level!. However, a unique, and truly different taste experience is "Sparkling Burgandy!." It's a delicious red bubbly sevred ice cold, reasonably priced and enjoyed by everyone I've served it to!. There are several different brands to choose from!. Take your pick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

What are you celebrating!. A baptism or a 12th birthday would not be a celebration where wine would be served!.
A Wedding or wedding anniversary would!.
For any celebration of any kind where alcholol is legal, Champagne is always the wine of choice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pinot Meunier (name of the grape) and there are only 3 vintners that produce it!.!.!.the 2 easiest to find will be River Road or Chandon!.
