When people have had alcohol their emotions are much more heightened and true passions/ feelings come to the fore!. This can be happiness as well as anger or sadness!.
Personally it can affect me in all ways and depends on the current stresses or whether I am really happy at the time!. If you witness something really horrible in your job, or you have had a bereavement it can help dull images and help you to chill!. It can help you to have fun and happiness as well!.
