do you go to jail and get a record for misdem or felony!? I'm here in Nevada I just want to be sure before I turn 18 and drink with my buddies!.!.!. I know you go to jail if you're with under the age of 18!.!.!. because I don't want to have a record!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You probably won't go to jail unless you're drinking and driving, but you WILL get a citation for an MIP (minor in possession or consumption)!. It is a misdemeanor and you will have to go to court, pay a fine and possibly take a class!. It will go on your record, but it can be taken off in a few years if you don't have anymore offenses!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I got an underage drinking when I was 17!. They took me to the police station, I had to call my parents to pick me up, and I got cited!. The people with us who were 18 were also taken to the station and given the option of staying overnight in a cell or having their parents pick them up and they were cited as well!.

I don't know about Nevada!. But here in Canada you would just get turned into your parents!. I think it would be more of the person who bought you or gave you alcohol would be the one going to jail - but not for long!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
