Is it illigal to seve a whole bottle of liquor to a group of people at a bar!
My boyfriend works at a hotel and they served two bottles of liquor to customers!. They gave the bottles to the customers after they bought it, is this illigal!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Liquor laws are regulated state by state so we need to know what state your in!.
Example: in Oklahoma!.!.!.!. you can buy a bottle and if it is not finished, they put your name on it and you can drink form it each time you visit the bar!. IN FACT they sell you only the mixer used!.
Example: in Georgia a bartender is not allow to sell you a pitcher of beer if you are alone!. (buy as many single beers as you want, but not a pitcher)
I doubt that in any state it would be illegal to sell a whole bottle of hard liquor at a time ( as in WINE too)!. But I hope the place your boyfriend works charged them a lot for the whole bottle!.!.!. where is the profit in sellin a full bottle at a time!.!.!.!. I am a resturant owner!.!.!.but now I live in the Philippines!.!.!.!. you think the USA is screwed up on this type of thing!.!.!.!. try the philippines sometime!.!.!.!. Here they buy 1 Big Beer (quart) and 1 glass and "TAGI" share it!.!.even when there are 10 people!.!.!.!.as a owner I hate it and had to make a rule to stop it!. otherwise I would be out of business due to no profits!.

Yes it's illegal!. The customers can buy it, but the bartender must be the one serving it!. Otherwise they are required to take it off the property!. Normally that doesn't happen too often!. Usually if it's a special occasion or excellent customer, but the bartender still must serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I come from old fogie land in Florida, US!. Here - yes!. Any form of alcohol, even rubbing alcohol, is illegal, especially if you're under 21!. If you're under 21 it's super-duper illegal!.
