Mead IS an alcoholic beverage made of fermented honey and water, often flavored with various berries and herbs!. It is concidered by many to be a wine, but I personally prefer to think of it as its own category of beverage!.

It's a honey wine!. Dates back to medieval times!. I assisted with a homebrew contest at a Medieval festival!. Next to our booth was one that had Mead!. The bees were swarming all over the booth!
