Where would be a good place to find mead in the USA!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I would ask around at local wineries and see if they carry it!. I know there are some around Morgantown, WV that make it, I just can't think of the name!. They were at the Wine and Jazz Festival last year!. I wonder if they'll be there again, this year!.

My husband fell in love with Mead when we were at EPCOT this past fall!. We were there during their Food and Wine Festival!. I liked the stuff from Ireland, but he preferred the stuff from Poland!. (He's Polish, and I'm Irish!.!.!. go figure! lol)

Since the Wine and Jazz Festival is in September, I'll try and find the name of the winery it came from!. I'll post it here, and see if they have a website you could visit!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Salutations,
I have had 2 that I have not made myself, they are Bunratty, from Ireland I belive, the company also makes one of the few exported Poteens, and Merrydown, a mead I drank most often while hanging out at Ren Fairs about 15 years ago!.
Why don't you just Brew your own!. it is a wine made from fermented Honey, and while it can take a bit of time, it's fairly simple!. and I find self made tend to be a bit stronger, commercial meads always taste "Watered Down" or should that be Juiced Down to me!. Cheers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
