Everyone has a different tolerance to alcohol!.
A basic rule is to not drive if you imbibe more than 1!.5 oz!. of liquor, 6 oz!. of wine or 12 oz!. of beer within the last hour!.
also the more you weigh, the less alcohol has an affect on you!.
By too much that means not staying within the legal limits of alcohol in your blood!.
I know some people who can drink all night and never seem to have a problem w/alcohol!.There are others who can take a few sips of wine and then cannot control themselves!.
Another factor is how much food you consume while or before you drink!.
For me, if I feel my face getting numb, then that signals me to stop drinking, especially if I have to drive!.

Its different for everyone, i cant drink more than a six pack or else ill be on the floor throwing up and crying like a moron hahaha, and others can drink a whole 30 pack!!!! Its when u cant drive anymore when u've drank too much !.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
