Some interesting recommendations here!. I will assume that you can spend about 15 bucks or so and that you are interested in real wines (versus other stuff that passes for wine - yes, I am a wine nerd, sorry to any that offend)!. Okay, so - you want a wine that is "fruity" with soft tannins in reds!. A great choice would be Beaujolais Villages (not Noveau or Beaujolais)!. It balances nice acidity with soft tannins that make it so drinkable!. Plus, its one of the few reds that taste great chilled!. No bitterness here!. Good luck!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

First of all- I know nothing about fine wines or wine period!. I like to try supermarket brands and different bottles when I can afford them just to see what I like!. I like Arbor mist too BTW!. I have to agree that it is not really wine, but is is cheap, comes in a bottle, and tastes yummy-so why not;) The sweetest one that I can think of that would be compareable would be a Riesling!. The supermarket brands that have not been bad are Berringer, Yellow Tail, & BareFoot!.

I can't remember what brands of the Riesling I have tried!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Santa Margherita is not a fine wine and Arbor Mist is a glorified wine cooler!.

It sounds like you prefer "fruity" drinks, so I would go with Schmidtt Sonne Riesling!. It's a dessert wine!.

On that note, you might prefer most dessert wines!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

try a sauvignon blanc!. or a chardonnay!. or a riesling!. as the wine store for a sweeter white wine like any of the varieties listed above!. YOU WILL find one you like!. and when you do you'll forget all about arbor mist!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Arbor Mist is not really a wine!. It is more of a punch with alcohol!. There will be no fine wines with that much of a fruit flavor!. Some wines varieties that do have sweetness are Chenin Blac or Riesling!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd try some rose wines such as White Zinfandel or White Merlot!. Both are on the sweeter side and are sort-of between arbor mist and "real" wine!. Beringer makes both of these at a reasonable price and can be found almost anywhere!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Keep it simple and just get a bottle of Riunite, lambrusco or white!. No need to get complicated!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
