Is it possible to love beer as much as I do but not be an Alcoholic?!

Question: Is it possible to love beer as much as I do but not be an Alcoholic!?
Now I don't think I am but I was always that guy throughout high school and college that could double and sometimes triple most people in drinking!. No I don’t feel I need booze to get by or make me happy, I just really love to drink because it is fun!. Yes, I can go without as well!.

Now with that said am I or should I start telling people to go to hell!? Serious question!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can love beer and not be an alcoholic!. If you're not beating your girlfriend or pissing on cars drunk in the middle of the night, I'd say you're doing A-ok!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

how often, how much, and why!? if you drink a lot when you're alone, then you'd be an alchoholic!. if you drink beer because you love the taste, not!. If your friends drink a lot of beer when you're out with them, you're basically required to at least attempt to match or outdo them!. from what you've given me, i'd say you're not, but i would not recommend telling people to go to hell!. maybe a more subtle way!. like **** you, or something like that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

my definition of an alcoholic is you have to have a drink every day
if you cant have a drink you get frustrated, mad as hell and shake from withdrawal symptoms!.

do any of these sound familiar if so you may have a problem
if not don't worry its ok to drink but with limits !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Alcoholics are not just people who love beer, they live on it, and can't go a day without it!. Trust me, my grandpa was an alcoholic, and he loved beer, but he couldn't stop drinking it!. He died from alcoholism in 2001!. I don't think you're an alcoholic, I think you just like to have fun, and that's okay (:Www@FoodAQ@Com

You probably are not an alcoholic!. Liking an alcoholic beverage does not make them an alcoholic, it is when the feel for the need of the feeling derived from alcohol takes control of your life, you need to really get concerned!.

I am however concerned that you have a wonderful woman and 3 daughters all of which you say are aged 2!. I think you may want to consider an "older woman"!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

An alcoholic is someone who drinks just to get drunk so that they can push away thier feelings, and it interferes with their work, family, and social life!. If you aren't ruining your life or other people's lives with this, than it is not a problem at all!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

i know how it is!.!.!.everyday when i get off work i want to get a 12 pack and relax and its fun!.!.!. i hope im not an alcoholic but at the same time i don't care because im having fun and i stay safe and responsibleWww@FoodAQ@Com

well the thing with addiction is that no one admits!.!.!. well my husband is the same exact way, can drink like no one else!.!.!. wow!.!.!. and drinks everyday all day if he could and now he admits that he has an addiction!.!.!. sad but very very true!.!.!. i think u should admit and just get over it!.!.!. lol!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

As long as you're taking care of your business I say it is fine!. I have an extensive alcohol collect!. Two loved children, a great job and I a good woman!. I also drink in moderation almost every day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I LOVE Beer, too!! And, even though I am a small woman I can put them away!. However, I NEVER drink and drive!. Only you can know if you are an alcoholic!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do whatever the voices in your head tell you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
