Is a screwdriver a boring drink?!
Okay -- normally if I go out I'll just have a few Bud Lights!. But yesterday I had eaten an entire pizza and felt so full and just couldn't stomach any beer because it was making me feel even fuller!. The bartender (who is a friend) gave me a hard time when I told him I was going to have a screwdriver instead!. (Actually it was the female bartender who was leaving the bar -- she told the male bartender, "Don't give him a screwdriver! Making him a [something or other I can't remember]!"
I don't drink liquor very often, so I thought a screwdriver would be all right!. Was I wrong!? He made it with Absolut Vodka without my asking (normally they charge more but he's a good guy and is nice to me)!. Anyway, I figured at least with a screwdriver I'd be getting my Vitamin C and I wouldn't feel that bloated beer feeling!. Thoughts!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I dont think it is a boring drink, it is just not something I personally would order at a bar!. Next time just ask the bartender for a drink that is lighter so it will not fill you up like beer does!. I drank screwdrivers all the time my freshman year of college because it was it was easy and the orange juice masked the taste of the vodka!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Not so much boring as rather juvenile!. Something you see a lot of younger people drinking (as the orange juice will have a rather sweet taste)
Next time!.!.!.since you (sort of) ate Italian food, you could have a sambuca!.
