Alcohol to get to sleep?!


Question: Alcohol to get to sleep!?
Does anyone else feel that sometimes when they can't get to sleep that drinking helps you a lot!? Im not an alcoholic and i dont drink that often, but sometimes when i know im not going to be able to fall asleep a night i just get REALLY tipsy (not drunk) and then within about 2 and half hours i feel tired and i can just doze off!. Anyone else ever do this!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

last time I fell asleep being tipsy, I dreamed I was a baby and maggots were comming out of my belly button, thaey carried me to the highway and dropped me off in the middle of the road, a truck ran over me but I didn't wake up, than ants devoured me starting with my fingernails!. Alcohol is a depressant!. It puts you to sleep!. If you get drunk and then pass out, you'll wake up feeling horrible: Headache, nausea!. Hangover!

It's not uncommon to sip a glass of wine or brandy and then nod off!.

BTW - Benadryl helps you sleep!. Same ingredient in Sominex, over the counter sleep aid!. Follow the instructions!

Here's what I got!. When I can't sleep a lot of times it's due to my brain just not slowing done!. I am the type of person who constantly has something running through my mind!. This doesn't help when trying to sleep!. A couple drinks does help me relax, and the brain slows down a little!. Makes it easier to sleep!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It will help initiate sleep!. And bring the onset of delta sleep (stage 3), but in the long run is no good!. It reduces the amount of REM sleep you get!. You need REM, it it the restoring and replenishing sleep!.
