Answers:
want a real good beer to try I meen a GREAT beer, if so try BlueMoon it's a perfect smooth taste it's a white beer made in belgium you can find in most liquor stores! not to expensive reg import beer prices from 7-10$ a 6-pack (matters where you go) tell me how you like itWww@FoodAQ@Com

Try some Trappist ales from these breweries:

Bières de Chimay has 3 varieties available in bottles

Brasserie d'Orval one variety only, but so worth it!

Brasserie de Rochefort 3varieties in bottles

Brouwerij Westmalle 2 or 3 varieties depending on where you are

Brouwerij Westvleteren Hard to find, but great if you can

Brouwerij de Achelse Kluis called "Achel', hard to find but also great

Brouwerij de Koningshoeven also hard to find, but I had several when I did get hold of some a couple of years back!. This brand is Dutch, the others above are all Belgian!.

Try a Belgian Wit Bier: Hoegaarden is a good brand, great in hot weather, and quite readily available!.

Leffe makes a great range of beers too, different co-called 'Abbey' styles!.

Schofferhoffer, from Germany, makes a fantastic range of Weizen (Wheat) Biers, filtered and unfiltered!.

La Chouffe, a fantastic beer from France!. Comes in a champagne style bottle!.

Budvar and Pilsener Urquell and both excellent Pilseners from the Czech Republic (or whatever that part of the world is currently called)!.

Newcastle Brown ale, a nutty tasting ale from England!.

Old Speckled Hen, another excellent Bitter ale from England!.

Anchor Brewery in SF makes great beer!

Fat Tire is pretty good, certainly compared to the beers you have been drinking!.

La Blanche de Chambly from Quebec is a revelation!.

Aventius Weizendubbelbock from Barvaria is strong and really tasty!.

There are some good beers from smaller brewers in Australia (James Squire, Grand Ridge and Holgate are some) but you probably won't be able to get theses!. Fosters is not beer, and neither is XXXX: they are travesties!.

Tsing Tao from China is a fair Pilsener lager!.

also: check out the beer section in your supermarket or liquor store: in the US you have a pretty good range in most places, including your local micro-brews!.

As mentioned, try experimenting with styles of beer (IPA's, witbiers, various ales, lambics, Flanders Red, various lagers and so on)!. This will give you an appreciation for both style and brand!. Many of these beers cost more than what you have been drinking, but I soon chose quality over quantity!.

Any Czech or German beers are good--try Pilsener Urquell, Golden Pheasant, Warsteiner, Becks, Wernesgrüner, Lowenbrau!. Belgian beers are good, too--try Stella Artois!. There's some good Canadian beers as well, such as Steam Whistle Pilsener, Sleeman's Cream Ale, and anything from Mill Street, Brick, or Amsterdam!. Cheers! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Look for local craft brewers!. When you find one, try a brewery tour or visit their brewpub to try out a few different beers!. Beeradvocate!.com and Ratebeer!.com are also good places to find out which beers are good and which aren't!. Until then, Sam Adams is the largest craft brewery in the US and produces a lot of very good beers!.

PS: Blue Moon, while a Belgian White Ale and a decent beer, is a Coors product brewed in the US!. You notice that they don't advertise that fact much!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
