Where can i get soju?!
well im about to leave korea after a very long year here!.!.!.but i have grown to love soju!. is there a place in the states where i can purchase some bottles!? i dont want to have to sneak it back and run the risk with all that!.!.!.maybe a place over the internet!?!? thank you very muchWww@FoodAQ@Com

if you live near any asian market or korean market, they definately sell it there!. but the price for soju in the states just doesnt compare to the price in korea!. in nyc, its about 15 dollars in korean bars and restaurants, but sells for about 5 dollars i think in markets!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
First off, soju is basically just vodka only made with rice, so the difference isn't all that great!.
But, if you insist on having the real thing, any place that carries alcohol in a predominantly korean area or neighborhood will have some for sale!. For example, in my state all the liquor stores are ABC and state-run, but some do carry soju!. If you can get it here, you can probably get it in any state of the US!.
If the asian minority in the area isn't korean, the chinese have a drink called 'Baiju' and and the Japanese 'shochu' that's very similar!. In fact, all three can be written with the same Chinese characters!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
