Is Sam Adams available in the UK? Or something similar?!

Question: Is Sam Adams available in the UK!? Or something similar!?
Several months ago my husband and I moved to England!. The other night he was feeling a little homesick!.!.!. When I pressed him about what he missed, instead of family or friends he said he missed being able to order Sam Adams (LOL!)!.

There are a lot of great beers over here, no question, but I thought it would be nice to get him a case of something he misses from home!. I've checked the Sam Adams website and can't find where they export (I guess they either don't or I'm just clicking all the wrong links)!. I haven't seen it at any of the stores I've been to, either!.

If it isn't available, is there a recommendation anyone could give for an easily accessible beer that's here or available in the UK that would be similar!?

Thanks in advance!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I'm pretty sure Sam Adams is available in the UK!. It's just a lot harder to find there than it is here!. Maybe try asking someone at a liquor store or try looking online to see if someone in the UK ships it!.

EDIT:

Found it!!!

While Sam Adams may not be available in the UK, and in spite of th fact that its a lager, may I suggest you try Boddingtons Ale!. Don't let the fact its served in a can turn you off from this tasty and distinctly plesent ale!. Rich, bold, and just the right amount of powerful hops (similar to Sammy) make this beer a suitable substitute!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sam Adams (Boston Lager I'd assume) is a vienna lager and other common beers of the same style are Negra Modelo and Bohemia although I find them to be a little less full in flavor!. Regardless it's a similar beer!.

There's also probably oodles of better German examples!.

Sam Adams is a lager!.

Most pubs in the UK serve lager, and you can probably find it at the grocery as well!.

Check the Wikipedia source article I provided for more examples of lager!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why in the world would anyone move to the UK!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just go with a lager!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
