Riddling red wines??!
I've been looking for a cool wine rack and came across something called a "riddling wine rack!." Having never heard of the term "riddling" before I assumed it was either a brand name or style of wood used!. After researching I discovered that riddling actually has to do with a European sparkling wine making process!. So my question (finally) is: I really only drink red wines and not sparkling ones--will it make a difference if I store red wines in a riddling wine rack!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Riddling wine racks are quite unique!. It's like a panel of wood with holes large enough to set a bottle of wine in almost up side down!. This is actually good for any wine!. Will definitely keep the cork wet and the wine will age nicely!.
The only setback I see, and it's not that important is that if you are aging wine in a riddling rack you will get a bit more sediment on the cork when opening!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I can't be sure because I've never heard of a wine rack tailored for a specific type of wine but as long is it stores your wines on their side, it shouldn't make any difference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Absolutely not!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
