Measurement for a sangria recipe help?!

Question: Measurement for a sangria recipe help!?
I found an older recipe for sangria and it calls for a 4/5 quart bottle of wine!. Does anyone know what the actual measurement for that is!? I also found a recipe for a whiskey punch that called for one 4/5 quart bottle of whiskey!. Is this just what we'd refer to as a fifth!? Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

For super simple and relatively cheap sangria!.!.!. Get a bottle of Carlo Rossi sangria that is already made, and about an hour before serving throw in some diced up fruit and let it sit!. I like apples, oranges, pineapples, and grapes!Www@FoodAQ@Com
