If you're already prone to depressive tendencies, any amount of alcohol can trigger these!. If you want to drink, and do tend to get depressed, definitely stay away from gin, as it's a known depressant!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most people believe alcohol is an upper but truth is it is a depressant!. Usually though it starts out as a lift and after two drinks starts the decline into depression!.

So perhaps something else is going on too, that caused you to react to the beer!. Btw, how big was the bottle!. That makes a difference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

usually one beer won't effect you the next day, but the company you had the one beer with has a lot to do with how much you enjoyed the beer, and how you feel the next day!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
