Question: What are your favorite MICRO breweries!?
No macros please!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Well, on the east coast it's easy to find Dogfish Head!. Just had their Palo Santo Marron 12% Brown Ale last night!. When I can find Stone or Rogue, almost everything from them is great!. I've found Berkshire Breweries in growlers a lot, they make a good porter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm going to have to go with my fellow Missourians, Schlafly is probably one of my more favorites for one of the bigger micro's in this state!. O'Fallon Brewery also in the St!. Louis area makes one of the best Smoked beers I've ever had!. I recently visited a brewery in Herman, MO, called Tin Mill, that makes some of the best German style lagers I've ever had from a micro!. There is a very small brewery in Caboole, Mo called Little Yeomen that is also very good!. Springfield Brewing Co in Springfield and Boulevard in Kansas City are also good to mention!.

Frankly, this question is just as bad as all the other "What's your favorite beer, wine, spirit" questions because it all comes down to personal tastes, and local offerings!. I've had a lot of crafts and micro brews from other states and countries, but I'm going to mention my more locals first!. Which makes me jealous of all those lucky bastards in the Washington state region with the thousands of micros!. Colorado also seems to have a nice choice of micros that we can also get around the country!. And almost each state in the US offers a great micro!. You might as well ask, "who has more pride over their local/favorite micro and swear by it the most!?" This is why I want to beer tour Germany, where every little town with at least 1 family's worth of people has a local brewery, and its the best in Germany, if not all the world!. Then I'll go beer tour Belgium!.

Edit: Oh yeah, Flatbranch in Columbia, MO makes damn good beer and food!. Shlafly also has damn good food to go with their beer!. also, for the person mentioning Little Rock, AR, there is Veno's Pizzaria and Pub with great micro brewed beer and food, and then there is Diamond Bear brand brewed in Little Rock that is pretty decent, considering Arkansas is such a religious, dry, prohibitionist state!.

Edit 2: Although I've never had it, my favorite advertisement and beer name has to be Polygamist Porter out of Utah!. Why have just one!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am lucky enough to live in escondido!.
I have 3 great breweries no more than 15 minutes from where I live!.
Stone, Port/ Lost Abbey, and Alesmith!.
All are good, although I feel the quality of Stone's brews have come down some!.
I also enjoy Rogue, Alpine, Oceanside Ale works, Ballast point, and many others I can't remember right now!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sudwerks in Davis California!. I love their Marzen (octoberfest malt liquor) the best!. I also really like the beer at that micro brewery in Moab, Utah!. I can't remember the name right now but it was good too!. I also like this other brand that is brewed in Little Rock, Arkansas!. It is sold locally in the stores there!. It kicks @ss!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
