Low-carb Margarita recipe?!

Question: Low-carb Margarita recipe!?
Looking for help making a low-carb margarita, with fairly common ingredients!. I know i won't get no-carb since tequila has some in it!.

sofar i can find mixes by companies like Baja Bob's that use splenda, but they arn't available locally and don't want to order it online!.

The closest thing i can think of is a sugar-free limeade drink for the base-flavor, but i can't even find those!.!.!. the closest i can find is kool-aid lemon-lime drink mix that is unsweetened, and i could add my own artificial sweetener to!.

So, if i use this sweetener for 2-quarts!.!.!. load my blender up with crushed ice!.!. add however much sweetener the mix recommends, i will need to add water in addition to the tequila!.!.!. should i use 1/4 the amount!? in stead of 2-quarts, do 2 cups!? and then of course about a cup of tequila and all that ice, which some will melt!.

what do you think!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Just look up low-cal margarita online and you'll find some options!.

Here are a couple i've used (it's okay, none are as good as the real thing):

HG's Magical Low-Calorie Margarita

(Entire recipe: 105 calories, 0g fat, 58mg sodium, 2g carbs, 0g fiber, 0!.5g sugars, 0g protein = 2 Points)
Ingredients:

6 oz!. Sierra Mist Free (or Diet Sprite Zero, or your other fave no-cal lemon-lime soda)

*1!.5 oz!. tequila

1/2 tsp!. Crystal Light powdered drink mix, Lemonade (I use the Wal-Mart brand Great Value)

1 oz!. lime juice
Optional: lime slice for garnish and salt or no-calorie sweetener for rim of glass

Directions:

If desired, run some lime juice along the rim of the glass and dip into a dish of salt or sweetener!. Mix all ingredients together!. Pour over 1 cup of crushed ice!. Optional: Garnish with lime slice!. Enjoy!. Serves 1!

OR

Rockin' Razzy Rita

(Entire recipe: 105 calories, 0g fat, 5mg sodium, 2g carbs, 0g fiber, 0!.5g sugars, 0g protein = 2 Points)

Ingredients:

*1!.5 oz!. tequila

1/2 tsp!. Crystal Light powdered drink mix, Raspberry Ice

5 oz!. water

1 oz!. lime juice

Optional: lime slice for garnish and salt or no-calorie sweetener for rim of glass

Directions:

If desired, run some lime juice along the rim of the glass and dip into a dish of salt or sweetener!. Combine all ingredients, mix well, and serve over ice!. Or, for a frozen one, place all ingredients (dissolve Crystal Light in water first) in a blender with 1 cup crushed ice, and blend on high until well mixed!. Optional: Garnish with a slice of lime!. Serves 1!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just use fresh lime or lemon juice instead of a sour mix!. None of that sweetener crap and it will taste a lot better too!. Just mix the juice, tequila and triple sec in a pitcher and serve over ice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
