Answers:
Louis the XIII (Thirteenth not Fifteenth; trust me, it's important) is the ultimate pinnacle Cognac from Remy Martin and it is named after King Loius XIII of France!. The Hugeunots were indiginous to the Cognac region of France and pioneered the process of making brandy!. The Hugeunots had been facing religious persecution for some time and Lois XIII had declared them religious protection, giving them the happy, if brief, respite from persecution!. The next king retracted the religious protection and the Hugeunots were driven from their homeland!.

People remember history and when Remy Martin had to name the best example of Cognac they had ever distilled, only one name came to mind to honor, Louis XIII!.

Louis the XV is not the grade of alcohol or it's not a grade for all kinds of cognac!. The main grades are VS, VSOP, XO, Napoleon, Extra!.
And different producers invite its own grades, such as V, Extraordinaire and so on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
