Answers:
From what I understand, a long island iced tea is 9 parts out of 10 alchohol!.!.!. the last part is usually cola!.

That's without the ice!.!.!. ice waters that down probably about 20% if you let it sit for a while!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends on where you are drinking, Usually if you are drinking in a bar it is much less not just because we bartenders are chintzy bastards but also b/c state laws often prevent us from having more than an acceptable amount of liquor!.
Where I live it is only 4 ounces of hard liquor the rest is just mix and I have never seen a LIIT in a short glass!. However, I have found in my years of tending that the Long Island typically knocks people off their stools because of the mixture of liquors not the amount!. I would wager that if you drank 4 ounces of just vodka it wouldn't hit quite as fast as the combo in this drink!.

Are you talking pure alcohol!?

If so, there are 4 1oz shots of white liquor in a LIT!. At 80 proof (i!.e!. 40% abv), there is 1!.6 oz of pure ethanol in this mixture!. Plus 1/2 oz triple sec (usually 25% abv) = !.125 oz of ethanol!.

Therefore, the entire drink has 1!.725 oz of pure alcohol in it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The drink is 90% booze!. So depending on how large those glasses were - you drank at least 5 shots!.
This is the recipe for a standard Long Island:
3/4 shot Sweet Sour mix (non-alcoholic)
3/4 shot Gin
3/4 shot Vodka
3/4 shot Rum
3/4 shot Triple Sec
Splash of Coke (non-alcoholic)

The standard recipe is!.!.!.!.!.

1!.5 cl (three parts) Vodka
1!.5 cl (three parts) Tequila
1!.5 cl (three parts) White Rum
1!.5 cl (three parts) Triple Sec
1!.5 cl (three parts) Gin
2!.5 cl (five parts) Lemon juice
3!.0 cl (six parts) Gomme Syrup
Dash of Cola

What size glass!? Lets say each cocktail was 12oz's of the 12oz's lets say 40% was ice, of the remaining 60% lets say 50% of it is liquor!. 50% of 12oz's is 6Oz's of liquor!.

So 5-6 oz of 80 proof liquor per drink!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A LOT: Just look at the ingredients:

usually 4-6 shots of alcoholWww@FoodAQ@Com

four 80 proof alcohols!.!.

mixing them together wont make them stronger!.!. they are still 80 proof!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
