How would you make the perfect Gin Martini?!

Question: How would you make the perfect Gin Martini!?
Answers:
The "perfect" martini to me is different than the actual drink called the perfect martini!.

To me, it would be 4 parts gin, 1 to 2 part dry vermouth and cocktail olive for aromatics!.

By the book it would be 4 parts gin, 1 part dry vermouth, 1 part sweet vermouth and a cocktail olive aromatic!.

I would also disagree with the "shaken, not stirred" bit!. Clear liquors should always be stirred!. The act of shaking it, breaks off to much ice and bruises the flavor of the liquor!. Stirring on the other hand, chills it jsut as well, but doesn't damage the liquors flavor!. Then again!.!.!.most people drink inferior alcohol anyway, why not cover the taste up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

most people tend to put in more vermouth than in the past
most "classic martini" fans basically put the vermouth in the shaker, shake/stir, then dump out the vermouth, basically leaving only the vermouth on the ice!.!.!. then put the gin in, and shake/stir again, and pour into a martini glass, and add the olive!.

tends to be much less flavorful that the martinis people go for these days!.

Deep freeze the bottle of ideally Plymouth Gin (Plymouth Gin is the original Gin used in a Martini and by far the best) and the Martini glass!.

Rinse the inside of the Martini glass with Noilly Prat and empty!.

Top the frozen glass with the frozen Gin!.

Garnish with an olive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My perfect -martini- (gin martini is redundant) would be a martini glass swirled with 1/2 a shot of sweet vermouth, then filled with slightly chilled gin!. Spritz with bitters and add an olive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

James Bond would be severly disappointed in you!.!.!.

Stoli Elite Vodka babyeee!.!.

slightly shaken not stirred!!!!!
