This is what im saying to a lot of my classmates!.!.!. That because of the greed of people now, they do not care if the younger group gets vices and addiction, as long as the cause of their addiction is their product!. NO ! this should be discouraged, not only because it will greatly affect the health of the younger people!. They are also increasing the percentage of unwanted accidents, pregnancies, deaths, lawsuits and much more!. We cannot deny that a lot of crimes happen because the suspect is drunk, NOW are they willing to risk this many factors just 2 make their asses richer, every second they steal live from youth is an addition to their money banks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Well, it depends!. If you mean lowered critically, to the legal age being 15, than absolutely not!. If you mean lowered by a few years, like 18, then maybe!. If people can learn to drink responsibly, it might be OK!. But if it is lowered to 18, there should be more rules, like none during school hours, etc!. But the original drinking and driving, and drinking limit will still be in tact, making it not so bad!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Lowering the drinking age will create more disasters as nowadays, youngsters are drinking more!. this can increase the occurrence of accidents on roads, adolescents becoming more violent and not respecting parents!. there should be a distint difference between the adult and youngsters opprtunity in drinking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
i think that lowering the age isn't such a bad idea it's the fact that parents don't really teach their kids the right drinking ethics, if kids were just smart about drinking it wouldn't be that big of a problem!. other places in the world have a lower drinking age and they're just fine, plus the fact that you can go and die for you country, that your mature enough to make that decision to serve and possible die, but you can't have a drink and your barely old enough to buy cigarettes i think this countries morals are twisted in that way!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Not no but HELL NO! There are enough deaths what with drunk driving, alcohol poisoning ,suicide!. Then the rest of alcohol related injuries and accidents make the argument for raising the drinking age!.Not to mention the sheer idiocy that comes from the alcohol induced geniuses!. what promotes binge drinking is over bearing parents!. If they weren't so uptight about their kids seeing people drinking socially possibly even getting drunk then it wouldn't be such a facination to the kids!. they get out of mom and dad's control and go nuts!. Personally I was aloud to drink at 13 all i needed to do is ask and I got what I want!. I didn't go nuts when I hit 21 because it was not a big deal to have a drink or 10!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
well i live inthe UK where the drinking age is 18 but its enforced that much so i know that most kids ahed 16 drink!. i dont think its that much of an issue as long they drink responsibibly andlearn their limits!.

I personally think that as long as a teen has supervision, what's the big deal!? I wouldn't have a problem with my teen drinking in the house if I was there to watch and do it with them!. I don't think it's any of the laws business either if I let my teen have a drink in our home!. In England, teens are allowed to drink with their parents in pubs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Rest assured the college professors did not come up with the idea, they were approached to join in the movement!.

I think kids are going to drink if they want to regardless of laws!.
I did grow up in Germany where one could basically drink whenever!.
It did seem to make it less tempting to drink with fewer strict laws!.
I tried it when I was living there when I was 15-20 years old!. I didn't drink very much at all !.
Once I came to the US and hung around my friends here there was more pressure to drink!.
A lot of my American friends are alcoholics now!. I'm glad to say I'm not!.
It's difficult to say, but I do think if you forbid something, someone is more likely to do it just to rebel!.
