Where will all the non smokers drink when all the pubs have closed down ?!

You should have no fear of all pubs closing down whether smokers are allowed in or not!.!.!.in good times or in bad!.!.!.people always drink!.
Case in point, during Prohibition here in the US from 1920 to 1933 when NOBODY was supposed to be drinking alcohol, speakeasys, or underground, secret bars, we doing brisk business!. The government banned production and consumption of alcohol and destroyed every shipment of it they could find if it was found out that someone was shipping it!.
Local mobs and individuals opened secret bars where moonshine and other homemade kinds of alcohol were served and they thrived until the Prohibition act was repealed during the Great Depression!.
After that, legal bars reopened and were packed just about all the time even when no one was supposed to have any money!.
Even now most of the smokers I know still go to their favourite watering holes and are grateful not to come home smelling like stale ashtrays anymore!. They go outside, have a smoke and come back in!. No big deal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Interesting question!. Thing is, the pubs do a bigger business!. Many people don't want their food and drink to taste like smoke!.
In town we have several very busy pubs, and everyone thought they would go out of business with the smoking ban, but they report on the news that business couldn't be better and they love it!.

i don't think pubs will close down for good!.!.!.!.the government will lose out too much money on tax!
i know a lot of people will turn to home brewing or go to supermarkets for beer but as for public houses etc, they will always stop open because the younger generation still spend too much on beer and going out, they wont stay in and have a drink will they!?!? noooo!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The ones doomed to failure are naff northern boozers full of fat, pie-eating, beer swigging folks waiting for their inevitable heart attack!.
