To people that HAVE tried Mezcal Guerrero..?!
I just brought my Dad a bottle of Mezcal Guerrero Joven Abocado Con Gusano for his 50th birthday and want to know if its any good!? I don't drink it and just need some info as I cant get onto there web site!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's imported from Guerrero, so it can't be that bad!. The bad news is that the best mezcal stays in Mexico while the less desirable stuff is imported!. (Which is why mezcal has a bad reputation among so many people!. The real thing is good, although an acquired taste!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com
I haven't tried it, but I'll take a stab at it seeing as no one else has answered either!. Mezcal is related to Tequila, so if your dad likes drinking that, he MIGHT like the Mezcal!. Most people who have drank Mezcal claim its the worst tasting tequila they have ever tried!. It has a flavor similar to tequila, but worse!. There is a reason why Mezcal is sold "Con Gusano", its a marketing gimmick so that people buy it!. (its not even a worm, its a bug found on the Agave plant!.)
Personally, I'd rather drink a good bottle of tequila then Mezcal!. If however you dad likes the stuff, then I'm sure it will make him happy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
