Is my cigar OK to smoke?!

Question: Is my cigar OK to smoke!?
I'm a beginning cigar smoker and have a cigar on hand for my next celebration: I'm going to smoke it when I land a job!. This could be today, could be next week, but I've had it for like 2 weeks!. I've employed the "cigar in a plastic bag inside another bag with a moist paper towel" method, but the cigar feels almost too soft!. The cigar is still in it's original cellophane wrapper, and that wrapper has visible condensation on it!. Could the cigar have absorbed too much moisture!? What should i do!? If I wanted to smoke it today, should i try to leave it out to dry up a little!? Thanks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
well yes your cigar is too wet!. if you lightly squeeze your cigar in the middle and it gives a lot like really soft then you need to reduce the moisture around the cigar!. the cigar is to wet and will be very difficult to lite and keep lit during your smoking experience!.

now what you need to do is get a small tubbaware bowl that is air tight and slowly reduce the moisture in the box from what you had in the bag because if you just go from really wet to just dry this will damage the wrapper leaf of the cigar they actually can swell up and crack!. so just put a less dampen rag in the box for a couple of days then put a very slightly damp rag in their because that would work best!. but if you start to collect cigars and smoke then more then it is in your best interest to buy a humidor!. if you need more help on cigars just email me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I can't stand it when people say to place cigars in a plastic bag with a moist paper towel in it - there is no way to regulate the humidity and its a great way to produce mold, mildew and bacteria!.

Keep it in a small, airtight container and you will be fine!.

If there is visible condensation, you will need to dry it out otherwise it will not stay lit and if it does, it will burn and taste harshly!.

There should never be visible moisture next to a cigar!. They can mold!. Remove the paper towel and allow the cigar to come back to a normal moisture level!.

If you try to smoke it today, it probably won't burn well!. It's best to let it dry out a little, but slowly inside a plastic bag!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's fine!. Reduce the amount of liquid in the paper towel!. This will regulate it over time!. If that special day turns out to be tomorrow, pull it out and let it dry a little before smoking it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yeah that method should be fine i've done it before just the only thing i suggjest when that day dose come around let the cigar dry a little until you smoke it and it should be great!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no cigar is OK to smoke!.!.!. it will all cause cancer!.

as for your cigar!.!.!. its up to you, its not like it will get you any sicker than you would get anway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
