Answers:
The money you earn depends on a lot of factors!. In a restaurant, if you are working service bar (as in you're making drinks for the tables) you make not make as much money as you anticipated and that depends on the menu and the product knowledge and quality of the server for the table!. If the server is bad, they get a bad tip and hence, so do you!.

However if the restaurant also has a sit down bar, those people are your bread and butter!. The clients and tips you get are dependent now on your bartending and customer service skills; can you upsell!? do you know your drinks!? do you have charisma!?

The pros, it's F-ing cool job that can make you lots of money! The cons, you have to be able to work it! There's lots of multi-tasking, prioritizing and work involved to become a good bartender!. I've come across a lot of TERRIBLE bartenders that have no clue what they're doing, I don't tip them, especially the ones with a big ego!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The pros of bartending are that it is a good job, a respectable profession, you get to meet a lot of neat people, and the tips are pretty good!.

The cons are putting up with drunks, guys who don't understand when a woman doesn't want company, and it is very hard work at a busy bar!.

Bartenders can make $10 - $25 / hr depending on tips!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the pros are if place is busy you can make about $300 a night cons are you get used to money and saty in place and when you get older you have nothing to fall back onWww@FoodAQ@Com
