About 35 yrs ago I stared drinking wine and fell in love with Cabernet Sauvignon and Burgundy!. After a while I grew very fond of Italian wines, mainly Chianti and Barolo!. Now I drink just about anything depending on the mood or the meal,!.
As far as the Cabernet, my favorite happens to be Italian, bottled by Carpineto!. It's called Franito Cabernet Sauvignon!. Very nice and sells for about $30!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm a 'red' ---
Pinot noir is good, but I don't care much for a plain cabernet!. I do, however, like a cabernet/shiraz blend!. If you want to try something new, I recommend a red table wine like Big House Red (I can serve it with anything) or an Australian like Black Opal shiraz/cabernet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like dry red wine!. I would have to say that my favorite would be a nice dry, full bodied, fruity, somewhat soft Zinfandel with a loooong finish!.
