give the red a rest for a while and then try it again in a few months!. try with an organic wine!. i find it easier for my body to process since i love the red but it don't love me!. if that doesn't work, grab a bottle of whiskey and some ice, maybe some club soda and enjoy! after 40, red wine is a huge commitment for me and requires major schedule changes! lol!Www@FoodAQ@Com
This happened to my sister she was never a heavy drinker but following a year living in South Africa she really knew her wines and came back to Ireland a bit of a connoisseur, suddenly after about a year of light wine drinking she became really ill after a bbq that she hosted, she now cannot drink wine AT ALL!. It is like she is allergic to it!. She has never gone back on it, it affects her breathing and sinuses so I'm afraid you may be the same!. Perhaps you could abstain for a month and then try a small glass but no more, see if you can tolerate the one glass!. Then a week later try again with 2 and so on, this is how food that people are intolerant to are reintroduced to people who suddenly become intolerant out of nowhere!. My sister went to an allergist and he recommended that she could try Budweiser as it is made of something that other beers aren't!? also any rice based alcohol was said to be okay for her to drink!. See how you go, don't touch the wine for a while and then try it again!. One more thing, have you thought that perhaps you drank or ate something off that time you became ill!? Or was the wine off in some way!? Was anyone else sick!? It could just be that you had too much and are now unconsciously afraid to be that ill again!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Stick to Reds from cooler climates!. Europe, Oregon; Washington State and BC, Canada!. Cooler climate wines contain less histamines!.
stay away from south america (Chile and Argentina have great wine but if you have sensitivities VERY BAD )
Some australian and south african can be ok but lots of pain can happen while testing new ones!.!.!.!.
Any wine you have enjoyed in the past probably won't cause new pain perhaps you need monitor you consumptionWww@FoodAQ@Com
