Salary varies, as it depends on where you work, the clientel, the management, etc!. A good bartender working at a popular restaurant in a larger city can expect to make a good living of $30K and up!. But there will be night you make hundreds of dollars, and days you make $20!. I had several friends who were excellent, professional bartenders, and none of them went to one of those schools!. The types of drinks you'll learn to make there are more old-fashioned!. Experience is the best schooling for bartending!. And bartending is generally not considered an easy job!. Shifts can last up to 14 hours, all standing up, dealing with drunks and lifting heavy boxes!. It's a good job, but not exactly an easy one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
