Answers:
As you can see from the answers above a REAL margarita uses no mix!. It's just Tequila, Fresh sqeezed lime juice, and orange liquer!.

The easiest way to remember it is 3-2-1

3 parts tequila
2 parts lime juice
1 part orange liquer (triple sec or cointreau)

This classic cocktail is a sipper, not the sickly sweet punch you get at the local dive bar served in a tall glass with a straw!.

If it is a bit too strong for you this way, or too tart, add a splash of simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water heated to dissolve the sugar)!.

If you really WANT the sweet tall glass punchy stuff, just buy the mixer!. But it will pale in comparison tho the real thing! Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you're gonna end up at the grocery store for limes, you may as well buy sweet-n-sour mix!. It's non-alcoholic, cheap, and can be bought by anyone(minors)!. Then you go like this:

2oz Tequila (adjust for taste)
1oz Triple sec
Just a splash!.!.!.not even an ounce!.!.!.of OJ!.
Shake and serve!.
Lime and salt optional!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

fill a shaker with ice!. add 1oz(1 shot tequila)had 6 oz Daily's cocktail mix(sour mix)splash of Triple Sec and shake and strain!. to rim your glass with salt, rub the edge of the glass with lemon juice and shake some salt onto a plate and rub the edge of the glass in the salt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

One and a half ounces of tequila, a half ounce of Triple Sec, and one ounce of lime juice!.
