I ate 950 calories...and its not even 2:00?!
Im sad now, Im trying to lose weight!. But im eating healthy just maybe too much!. Is this going to make me gain weight if Im 5'9 and 132 lbs!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

To get a rough estimate of the calories your body requires in one day to maintain your weight, assuming you are absolutely sedentary, take your body weight (or the weight you wish to acheive) and multiply it by 12!.
For example, if you weigh 150 pounds then (150 * 12 = 1800) you should be eating 1800 calories to maintain that weight!. However, you need to factor in daily activities into your caloric needs!. also, everyone's metabolism is different if yours is slow use 12 if its very high use 14 as the multiplier!.

also, don't you dare listen to the above poster who said that 1200 calories a day is normal!. It is absolutely not!. 950 calories by two o'clock sounds just about exactly right!. Have a small snack of fruit in the afternoon, a six hundred calorie dinner, and some more fruit or crackers as a snack later if you're hungry!. Because you're tall, and very thin, you should definitely be eating at least 2000 calories a day, more if you exercise!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

just dont blow it the rest of the day, eat a veggie dinner low in carbs and fat
ps a normal intake of calories for a day is 1200 you can eat lots of fresh veg items with out fat!. check the actual counts in mushrooms cucumber peppers cabbage the like you would be surprised how low in calories they are!.

You're not overweight!. At 5'7" my "recommended" weight is 145-155!. If you're focusing too much on what you're eating, it can cause a lot of issues!. I suggest talking to your doctor, since he or she would be able to give you first-hand advice on how to eat and live a healthy life!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
