Alcoholism Help and Question...?!
I heard my father talking to a friend today and he said that he (my father) drinks 120 beers a week - 17 a day!. I was just wondering if this could be considered alcoholism!.
He is never abusive or anything but he does get angry easily!. then again so do i, and i dont drink!.
I was just wondering if it was alcoholism because it really scared me when he said this!. i remember a few years ago it was only 6 beers a day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

17 beers a day is alot,to me it signals a problem!.sometimes people with drinking problems can drink like that and never show signs of being drunk!.!. If you are worried remember there's always alanine!. that's for family member of alcoholics!.!.!.I will pray for you and your familyWww@FoodAQ@Com

There is no particular level of alcohol intake at which a person can be considered an "alcoholic"!.!.!.but regardless of what label you want to place on your father's drinking, it is obviously way outside what anyone would consider normal drinking!. Drinking at this level will damage his liver, heart, and brain!. He is at high risk of cancer and accidents!. He has a problem!.!.!.I mean if 17 beers a day isn't a problem, then I can't imagine what would be!.

i knew i man that went though alcoholism drydock in the military and he said that all he drank was 10 beers a night and he stated that he was a alcohol so it is up to you to see if you can get dad help if he wants help Www@FoodAQ@Com

if a person can not due with out their alcohol for at least one day ,then yes they are considered alcoholism!.you might want to get him some help before it gets to far gone!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
