I want to work at a local wine bar/restaurant but don't know much about wine. Would they hire me?!
I drink wine and know what kind I prefer, but I'm definitely no wine connoisseur!. Do you think it'd be silly to apply as a server when I don't know that much about wine!?

The wait staffs job is to serve food!. It is up to the somolier to recommend the wine from the wine list!.
I would hire you, because you wouldn't know anything but what I taught you about the wines that I choose to sell in my resturaunt!.
