It blows Jarritos out of the water completely, and Jarritos are really good!. But I must say that Barrilitos is perhaps the BEST soda that I have ever had!.!.!.!.ever! And Mr!. Big Shot from New Orleans is spectacularly splendid in its own right!. But had a Apple flavored Barrilitos and it really felt like there was a party!.!.!.!.or fiesta in my mouth and millions of tiny well groomed delicious people were invited, and were doing pasitos de Duranguense in my mouth! Ever since this 'rapture' of my taste buds I have been a dedicated purchaser of this beautiful, bodacious, bubbling beverage!. Answers:
Part of what makes Mexican soda taste better than regular US stuff is that in Mexico, they still use cane sugar to manufacture it, which has a different taste from the corn syrup used as a sweetener in the USA (we use corn syrup because corn agriculture is very heavily subsidized by the federal government, resulting in incredibly low prices for corn and corn derived products, like corn syrup, corn oil, and corn whisky!.

The 'sweet' sensation on your taste buds is the same, but corn syrup and cane sugar have different 'flavors' on the palate, and it changes the flavor!. Many gentiles around the country look forward to Passover every year, for the simple reason that for that holiday they sell a Pesach Kosher version of Coke that also uses cane sugar instead of corn syrup!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
