How does your mind work?!

Question: How does your mind work!?
Can anyone tell me exactly how your mind works when you're drunk!? For example, I've heard that people do things that they wouldn't usually do when they're drunk!. But I've also heard that they know what they're doing!. I didn't quite understand that!. And do they remember what they did while they were drunk later!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
People generally remember, and know, exactly what they're doing when they are drunk!. The reason people might do things they otherwise normally wouldn't, is because alcohol lowers your inhibitions and makes you more spontaneous!. You make split-second decisions and might do stupid things without realizing at the time how stupid they are!.

There are, however, times when people 'blackout'!. This is when they drink so much alcohol in such a short period of time that the brain cannot form new memories (temporarily)!. This results in phases of amnesia!. During the time of the blackout, you know and remember what you are doing, but the next day you have no memory of what happened during the blackout!. Being drunk removes most of the inhibitions that people have by impairing judgement!.

Usually, (for example), if you see a girl you like, the thought may cross your mind to go over and grab her boobs!. But, your brain judges the situation and says, "Hey, if you do that, bad things will happen to you, don't do it," so, hopefully, you don't!.

When you're drunk, that little message pretty much gets turned off!. That's not to say everything you do while drunk will be something you wanted to do but were afraid of what would come next, like grabbing that girl's boobs, because the brain is constantly formulating new judgements based on new things!.

Some people get very angry when drunk, because their brain's ability to judge that some things aren't important enough to flip out over gets short-circuited!. Most people are very suggestible when drunk, because their ability to evaluate things that people tell them to do is impaired!. "You think I should take my pants off and go into Denny's!? Uh!.!.!. okay!"

So it's best not to judge people too harshly on decisions they made while drunk, since their ability to make those decisions was compromised!. That said, however, they did choose to get drunk in the first place, and we can hold them accountable for that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your ability to comprehend problems diminishes; your ability to foresee danger diminishes; your motor skills diminish!.

These three things are enough to make your mind fail you in problem solving, common sense, and agility/balance!.

As for forgetting things: it can block out short term memory so you don't remember but takes a lot of alcohol to do so!.!.!.!.!.the best thing to do is not go this far and take a break between drinks, to see what it has done for you!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Alcohol has numerous effects to your brain just like any other drug!. It primarily impedes your decision making skills which in turn causes various other effects to occur!. It also effects your peripherals and vision blocking out multiple senses!.

Although apart from this, whilst under the influence of alcohol your brain is still registering everything around you and your basic conscience mind is still operating allowing you to perform every-day tasks!. It is just the section of your brain which controls your 'decision making' that ultimately creates the effect of "doing things that you wouldn't usually do"!.

also memory loss is also experienced during consumption of alcohol!. demanding on how much alcohol is consumed determines that amount of memory that is recieved after the drugs effects have worn out!. This is because the memory section of the brain cannot compete with the amount of alcohol and therefore discards memory in order to function properly!. This is especially evident when you drink so much that you pass out!.
