Are there still wines made by crushing the grapes with bare feet?!
I remember that a long time ago, this was the method used to make wine!. I find it to be!.!.!. gross!? lol (the idea of someone standing in something I am to be paying good money to drink does not sit well with me for some reason) I was curious if this still goes on, or if they use machines to make wine these days!. also is it possible when purchasing wine to read anywhere on the bottle if it was machine made or what not, just incase that method would be more to your liking!? It's nearly all machines because they're more effective and less!.!.!.!. involved with feet!. There are very simple presses that do most of the work and every winery I've ever seen or heard of uses them!. You might be able to special order the feet kind, I'd wager every bottle you see on the shelf is machine-pressed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
In the US, alcohol doesn't have to have any processes or ingredients labeled, so tough luck finding out specifics
as for how often its used, i would guess the higher-end most likely the french wines are still stomped!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
