!?!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Children under 16 can go in a pub as long as they are supervised by an adult, but cannot have any alcoholic drinks!.
Young people aged 16 or 17 can drink beer, wine or cider with a meal if it is bought by an adult and they are accompanied by an adult!.
Over 18 as they wish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It depends on the establishment; and where you are!. That's actually the biggest factor!.

Since you're using terms like "mate" and "pub" then I would assume you're either in the UK or Australia!. In either place, anyone under age is typically allowed in a pub that serves food provided they are with an adult!.

If you're in the US, it varies place to place!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
