How come some people don't get hung over?!

Question: How come some people don't get hung over!?
I've only ever been hung over probably around 5 times, and I drink a lot, and pretty often!. Meanwhile I have friends who drink the same amount, at the same pace, who will be a complete wreck the next day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I drink regularly and haven't had a hangover in 30 years!. I attribute it to high tolerance!. also, the advice about drinking water is valid!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A hangover is just your body going through what is similar to withdrawal symptoms as the alcohol leaves your bloodsystem!. The withdrawal symptoms include a headache, nausea, and tiredness; the things that your mates are suffering from!. Since you have been hung over before, it may be because on those occaisions you drank enough for your body to respond the next day, whereas normally you are fine!.

It's also possible that your symptoms are far more subtle than your friends' splitting headaches, and the 'hangover' could manifest itself in the form of really mild nausea and a generally feeling of grittiness!. That's what I get!.

Your resilience to the symptoms could start off strong, and weaken as you get older (I'm talking five, ten, twenty years time)!.

It depends on many factors including weight, the last time you ate and the amount of water you consumed for the day!. when you have a hangover and experience headaches, usually this means your body dehydrating!. If you flush your body with water and food before you drink, youwont have a hangover!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I believe the answer is that you eat a lot of food before and during the time that you are drinking!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
