Answers:
regardless of age I think learning to drink responsibly is the most important thing!.

In the US where the age is at 21, when kids get their hands on booze they get carried away!. in a place like Germany where you can literally drink beer at any age and it is a lot more socially accepted younger people learn to enjoy drinking within a limit!.

I personally believe wine and beer should be legal at 16, and hard liquor at 18!.

I have nothing against underage drinking so long as done responsibly!. No driving, no stealing and safely!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think it is always a smart thing, but I can't knock it too much!. I am less than 2 months away from being legal to drink alcohol and I occasionally will have a drink!. Its not like I go to huge parties and get wasted every weekend though!. If I do drink, then it is just me and my husband at home, watching a movie or football or whatever!.

I think lowering the drinking age would be a huge mistake!.

Overall, the mindset of American teenagers when it comes to alcohol is just outrageous!. I have never met anyone under 21 who likes to just have one glass of wine or two beers at dinner!. (Well, I have probably never met anyone under 25 who does that!.) Young people in America drink to get drunk!. That is just how it is depicted in so many movies and songs that so many teens don't know anything different!. I know that is how I was when I was like 17!

(I am not saying that ALL young people are like that, but I would say MOST are!. If they could issue drinking privileges to people according to their maturity level, that would be amazing!. But they cannot logically or possibly do that!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

hey i do ill admit it!. its stupid to have a drinking age because part of wanting to drink is the fact that its illegal!. Take away the illegalness of it and it will come down along with the binge drinking!. Some countries dont even have drinking ages, in countries like the UK its 5 to drink, thats kinda low but we all know how much of alcoholics they all are lol jk!. I hope they change it back to 18 just in time for me to turn 18 so it wont be illegal anymore and i can go to clubs and buy stuff legally!. Seriously though as long as you dont drink and drive or do anything else that can endanger you or others, who cares!? Making 21 the drinking age is just as affective of stopping kids from drinking as Prohibition was to stopping everyone from drinking, people are still going to find a way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually I'm kind of over the whole underage drinking thing!. I am only twenty years old and for over a year I was a major alcoholic not going to lie moved into an apartment with my sister and my friend almost drank myself to death; I've had two minor in possesions and If I get another one It will be an 800 dollar fine, and I wont even be twenty until October 15th!. I used to bring home a 30 of Natural Ice everynight and drink myself stupid!. Now I'm living at home with my parents and not going to lie I enjoy being sober on saturday nights now!. I mean I drink every once in a while but I've now noticed how crappy I feel the next day seriously!.!.I went one week where I bought over 5 fifths of Jose Cuervo!.!.!.ah I love tequilla!.!.but You know it's easier being sober you won't get into trouble!.!.anyways that's my story!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think it's wrong for a number of reasons!.
It's against the law for one!.
And, children's brains aren't developed enough, and alcohol destroys brain cells!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

why would anyone want alcohol to run their lives at such a early age!. addiction!. teenagers already drive wild they need nothing else to affect their minds Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think its wrong, if kids wanna drink and as long s they dont drive or hurt anyone, they are breaking the law but so did gandi right!? civil disobedienceWww@FoodAQ@Com

I think its okay to have a limit, so as to prevent young ones to go astray in an early age!.!.!. and what is wrong with waiting anyway!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
