I assume you are talking about an ordinary bottle of wine!. If you uncork it and then reseal it won't last too long before it turns, maybe a couple of days!. If you put it into a smaller bottle and put it in the fridge it will last a couple of days longer, the less air that gets to it the better chances of it lasting longer!. Don't put a dirty cork back on that might also make it turn quickly!. Fill the smaller bottle to overflowing and seal the top with cling film!.

It usually depends on how young the wine is and what kind it is!. The younger the wine, the longer it can usually last by just recorking!. also, the heavier the red wine, the longer it will last!. There are always exceptions!. I've had old German Rieslings (white wine) last for weeks in the fridge when there was only half a bottle left!. Sometimes sweeter wines will last longer than dryer wines after opening!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
