I'm a bartender for 9 years so take my advice lol!.!.!.grey goose is over-rated, I've had people do countless blind taste tests and 95% of the time they prefer smirnoff, stoli is the next runner up!. Personally I like sky vodka especially since its organic and free of most impurities, so you really don't get a hangover!. Hope I could help!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Smirnoff is pretty good for the price, but if you're looking for something a little more top shelf, Stoli is the way to go!. I'm a huge fan of 360 (eco-friendly and smooth!) but it can be more difficult to find!. Between Grey Goose and Belvedere, I prefer Goose, especially pear!. Pear Goose and Sprite is awesome!.

There's a bar/liquor store in my town that's very good about giving samples!. It makes the decision a lot easier, and the store benefits, because I buy a bottle of whatever I like the best!. You should check your area for cooperative bars!.

Post note: My absolute favorite vodka, without any question at all, is Yazi!. But I don't recommend it often because it is ginger vodka!. The vodka itself is impossibly smooth, but the ginger makes it bite a little (kinda like eating a hot pepper) and it doesn't mix well with many things!. Really yummy stuff if you're in the mood though!. I usually shoot it or mix it with ginger ale or tonic!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

hmm- Vodka and wine are all that I ever drink- As I mix my drinks, my husband does straight shots and Martinis!.!.!.

If you are mixing it (and even not) there is a GREAT brand of Vodka out now from Poland that is soooo smooth- and made from potatoes- it's called Luksusowa!. This really has no bite, etc- - and the price tag is a LOT cheaper than any other good vodka you are going to get- (we are kinda food snobs and we have switched to Luksusowa)

If you don't do the potato vodka, I recommend Stoli, Absolut or Ketel One - I have had bad corks in Belvedere that made the vodka taste funky (and CAN YOU EVEN return a bottle of opened vodka!?!?!?)

Make sure you have Gatoraid for inbetween AND in the morning- and a few bagels or something that absorbs- hmm- planning on drinking a week in advance- cut down on anyhting sugar too while you are drinking- helps against the hangover- Www@FoodAQ@Com

well if you are mixing it, it really doesn't matter!. Smirnoff or another cheap vodka is fine with mixed drinks because you don't taste it!. If you are shooting just vodka my personal faves are Level, Goose, Ketel OneWww@FoodAQ@Com

In unflavored vodka I like a wheat vodka like Nemiroff or a potato one like Monpolowa my favorite flavored ones are undoubtedly Smirnoff Watermelon + Finlandia Cranberry

plaidjag : Nemiroff (the Ukranian vodka I mentioned) also makes a pepper one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mixing!? Smirnoff!.
Shots!? Absolut, or possibly Moskovskaya!. Grey Goose is popular with some people too!.

try vangough brand if you want to try flavored vodka!. The best is the dutch chocolate or even espresso!. If you want just straight vodka try cirocWww@FoodAQ@Com

To just take Straight shots i would get flavored vodka! It tastes so much better! but if you are going to be mixing it i would by mccormick or something cheap like that!. Have fun and be safe!Www@FoodAQ@Com

go for anything top shelf!.!.!. cheap vodka tastes like rubbing alcohol!.!.!. not that ive tried it, but i cant say it tastes like $#it lol!.!.!. id go grey gooseWww@FoodAQ@Com

Grey Goose or Belvedere are some of the best but Smirnoff is realy quite good concidering its not as expensive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
