Beer bottle in freezer?????!

Question: Beer bottle in freezer!?!?!?!?!?
how long can you leave a beer in a glass bottle in the freezer without it actually freezing or exploding!?!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Don't leave it in for long - maybe an hour if it was hot to begin with!. Yes they will break if left to long due to freezing!. I leave them in for about 30 minutes & check, then switch to the fridge!.Napo doesn't know the difference between whiskey & beer!. Common sense dictates!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Napo isnt much the drinker!. If he/she was you would know that just cause beer is alcohol it will freeze since it contains roughly around 10-12% alcohol!. and it will freeze!. I have had beer frozen in the freezer for quite sometime and the glass never broke!. The frozen beer managed to cause enough pressure to pop the cap, which allowed the air to escape, which caused the bottle not to shatter!. Different beer also freezes at differently!. It can depend on how cold your freezer is and how much water it contains!. I always recommended when removing any beer from the freezer rub on the bottle and or flip it over before opening!. Sometime the beer may not look frozen but once there air hits it there goes the overflow of frozen beer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

technically there is enough space for the liquid to freeze and expand in the bottle without exploding the bottle!.
It does really depend how much volume is there and the allowance the bottlers leave whilst pumping beers into the bottle!.

Beer does freeze seeing that only 95% of it is water!. Only the 5% will be pure alcohol which doesn't freeze!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

beer is alchohol!.!.!.alchohol doesn't freeze!.!.!.learn basic scienceWww@FoodAQ@Com

I would switch it to the fridge after an hour, it should be cold by then!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
