First time drinker? ?!


Question: First time drinker!? !?
I'm a first time drinker (have drunk alcohol before regularly, but only in small amounts) and am going out drinking at the weekend!.
I'm gonna have smiroff ice (the small bottles),
i want to get a good buzz (not p*ssed out my head) but don't want to be throwing up/feeling sick from drinking too fast, or not feeling anything from drinking too slow!.
just wondering how many should i drink in an hour to get a good buzz!?
Should i have about 1 an hour or more/less!? I don't want to be feeling sick/throwing up so i want to know how to space them out!.

Take your time drinking!. alcohol effects everyone differently (body weight, tolerance etc) I suggest drinking a water in between each one!. This helps you not feel hungover the next day and it gives the Smirnoff a chance to kick in in between drinks!. That's a mistake people make all the time, they keep slugging them back and then all of a sudden bam! they are tanked, because it takes a while for the alcohol to absorb and the effect to set in!. Personally I don't like the taste of beer/cider/wine, so i tend to drink cocktails as they are mixed with fruit juice and stuff so they taste much better! Although despite tasting really nice they have a high alcohol content - so best not to drink too many first time!.

The first time I went out drinking I only had two cocktails and i was very tipsy, in one hour i wouldn't suggest you go over two drinks especially if you haven't drunk much before! 1 or 2 is probably best to get a buzz!.

What alot of people take for granted is quality!.
I am an avid drinker (not an alcoholic I just know whats good) and I have found that top-shelf liquors will give you a totally different buzz then low qaulity or malted crap!.
DO NOT drink malted drinks unless you want a stomache ache!.
The best choice for a good time without getting too wrecked is always to drink in moderation!. Two in the first hour (to cop a buzz,especially if you barely drink) and one every hour your out to keep it going!.
If you like juice try pairing your favorite juice with a clear liquor (grey goose, or bombay saphire are my favorites)
Heres a good I wanna get buzzed but not trashed drink
order a
greygoose and chamboard with a splash of sprite!.
Very very nice tasting if made corectly and wont drop your panties too quick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

just dont think about it, drink when and how fast u want an wen u get that rush to ur head, thats wen ur tipsy, and being tipsy is so much nicer than being drunk you no what your doing and you never feel silly in the mornin, so if i wer u i wud'nt even worry about wts going to happen cus it'l b even more of a waste of a night if u worry about it have a good time :) xxWww@FoodAQ@Com

When you are not used to a lot of alcohol it is easy to overdo it and throw up as you either miss or ignore the signs that you need to stop!.

My advice is to alternate an alcoholic drink with a non alcoholic drink and sip it slowly!. Don′t be pressurised into drinking too much!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

just take your time to drink!. its not a race! when you start to feel a bit tipsy then stop for a hour or drink slower!. thats should work and if not, make sure you have a friend there to hold your hair back for you =]!. most people feel a lot better after they have been sick and are able to drink again straight aftr!. i wouldnt really worry about it if i was you!. no one likes being sick!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i myself always try not to get drink caz i dunt know wat am capable of!.!.!.!.welll i drink half a bottel of barcadi breezer and dance for like 10-15 mintues lol and again and again orr u should have a big meal before u start drinkin or eat bread/bread sticks whilst drinkin!!! their absorb the alcohol =]Www@FoodAQ@Com

dont drink b/c someone else wants you to or b/c everyone else is, a drink that i started off with was called takara plum i still drink it till this day its good and it wont get u messed u it will give you a buzz and its smooth good luck girlWww@FoodAQ@Com

If I were you I would start out with an empty stomach and drink the first 3 or 4 as fast as you can!. I would the just pace myself the rest of the night have about 2 or 3 an hour!.

About 1 drink an hour should be just fine!. One thing to remember is, as soon as you feel like you can drink anything in any amount, STOP!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
